an exceptionally talented team.

At Nassau Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy, from first impression to final workout, you will be accompanied by a friendly, accommodating and caring professional. Our front office staff will expedite the scheduling of your appointments, correspondence with your insurance carrier and clinical data. Your peace of mind begins with the knowledge that you are in the caring hands of our experienced administrative team.

Your physical therapy is continually monitored by Arthur Safalow (P.T., C.Ped.), the Director of Nassau Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy. Once your program of therapy and exercise is formulated, Mr. Safalow, and his team of professionals, will work with you to ease your pain and inflammation in preparation for exercise therapy. Our experienced, fully licensed clinicians implement the latest therapeutic instruments, manual therapies and exercise techniques during each office visit.

Perhaps the toughest phase of your therapy will be in the gym. There, our licensed team of exercise specialists will guide you through the proper use of each piece of equipment designated for your rehabilitation. They will monitor your progress, Staffsupervise your technique and encourage you to work to your maximum. The more diligent you are with your on-site and home workouts, the better the results will be in the long run. These specialists’ expertise can sometimes avoid weeks of unnecessary pain and dysfunction.
